DP502: UNITED METHODIST DOCTRINE. William Ellington.
DESCRIPTION:
- The course is an overview of the United Methodist doctrinal
heritage. It will trace the development of doctrine from Wesley to the present
and indicate the usefulness of the doctrinal heritage today. It will acquaint
the student with the major doctrines of United Methodism.
RELEVANCE FOR MINISTRY:
- Required for ordination in the United Methodist Church.
COURSE FORMAT:
- The class will meet twice weekly for three-hour sessions for five
weeks for lecture and discussion.
