For over fifty years, Fuller Theological
Seminary has prepared leaders for the church world wide, and in particular,
for the third world church. We thank God for the incredible growth of the
church in these nations. However, we also recognize the continuing shortage
of trained leaders and counselors to serve emerging congregations.
Our desire to equip Christian
counselors for the church in Africa as well as requests for training
materials has led Fuller Seminary’s Graduate School of Psychology to prepare
resources for this purpose. The resources are available free
of charge to seminaries, bible schools, and Christian counseling
agencies in Africa who will be able to utilize them in the
training of counselors. The resources contain Christian
Counseling:
an African Indigenous Perspective, a book written by Fuller alum Dr.
Gladys Mwiti and Fuller professor Dr. Al Dueck, as well as a package of
Digital Video Disks (DVDs) covering each chapter of the book. You may download
the entirety of the book in PDF format by clicking
