Areas of Concentration

Fuller’s School of Intercultural Studies has a reputation of offering training on the forefront of cross-cultural ministry.  Our aim is to identify new trends in mission and give them the credibility and critique they need both from the most recent theoretical developments as well as Christian wisdom through the ages.  We are always seeking to support the work of Christians as they minister in the dynamic interplay between word, world and church.

As a result, and due to the broad interdisciplinary engagement that missiology entails, our school delivers a wide variety of courses and research areas in which students engage.  Each of the following concentrations represents a sample area of study that will help to prepare and enhance students for vital work in a specific range of careers.  We encourage you to explore some of these options and contact us for any further information you might need.
