Students Concerns Committee The International Students Concerns Committee is a special-interest group sponsored by the All Seminary Council. The International Students Concerns Committee seeks to promote a sense of identity among international students to assist them in their adjustment to life at Fuller, and to serve as a facilitator of fellowship among international students and a bridge with the North American students to build a supportive community together. As an international student you may be eligible to work on-campus, and off-campus in some specific situations (consult the International Services Office for detail). The Office of Career Services is ready to assist you with your vocational needs by providing, information, and helping you with the preparation of employment applications and resumes for on-campus and off-campus employment. The Office of Career Services is located on the lower level of the Student Service Center 250 N. Madison Ave. and can be contacted by e-mail at cs@fuller.edu or by phone at (626) 584-5576. Seminars,
Workshops & Orientation The ISO is planning to do one workshop per quarter dedicated to the needs of Fuller’s international community. Topics such as taxes, re-entry, employment, visas, immigration regulations, and cultural adjustment will be covered. If you have any suggestions or questions concerning these events please contact Sam Bang at iso-office@dept.fuller.edu. The ISO can provide airport shuttle service from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) for international students and their families who are arriving at Fuller for the first time or departing for the last time. This service needs to be scheduled in advance with the ISO. Please contact the ISO with your arrival or departure plans at least two weeks prior to your travel date. You can download the "student arrival form" here, and e-mail the information to Alan Gordon at fuller.iso.services@gmail.com Fuller’s ESL Program has equipped hundreds of international students with the skills and confidence to start their seminary education in English. Unlike traditional ESL classes, Fuller’s ESL curriculum trains you in the master’s-level, theological English necessary to function at seminary. Intermediate and Advanced levels give students realistic practice and strategies to overcome the challenges of studying in a foreign culture and language.
