Overview

The training and development of leaders is at the heart of Fuller's Master of Arts in Global Leadership, and the courses which make up the leadership sequence are designed to build on what you've already learned in your cohort sequence classes, while adding new layers of depth and perspective.

The leadership sequence builds on leadership emergence theory and adult education theory, foundational concepts introduced in the MAGL cohort sequence classes.  In taking these courses, you'll discover new elements of what you've previously learned, and will uncover new insights that you can apply to present and future ministry.

The two value-based leadership courses in this sequence will delve more deeply into Bible-Centered Leadership, with special attention paid to the books of Titus, Philemon, Habakkuk and Nehemiah.

The third course in this sequence focuses on designing training, which most leaders will do, at one point or another, in ministry.  MAGL students who have studied mentoring, an informal means of developing other leaders, can also benefit from taking this course, which will help them to design training that can be used in both formal and informal settings.
