Biblical Studies with Various Professors

Overview
A solid background in the biblical texts is essential for ministry in any form. This sequence offers students the opportunity to dive into some of the grounding texts of our faith. The first course in the sequence is an introduction to the Pentateuch, and students will wrestle with the theological issues that arise in Genesis through Deuteronomy. Two introductory New Testament courses follow, the first focused on the gospels, and the second on Acts through Revelation. In these courses, students will become familiar with the literary and theological issues that arise in the study of the New Testament, with an eye on how these ancient texts shape our ways of being in the world today.
Because these courses are among the more popular courses offered through Fuller Online, you are advised to contact the MAGL coordinator well in advance of registration.
