The Master of Theology in Missiology

The Master of Theology in Missiology (Th.M. in Missiology) trains pastors, mission leaders, and denominational leaders to meet the challenge of ministering in an increasingly complex, multiethnic, multinational world.  The Th.M. provides students with an M.Div. degree the missiological framework for research and reflection by building on the biblical, theological, and historical studies gained through their previous work.  The program enables practitioners to pursue concentrated coursework in one area of missiological study, culminating in a reflective and research-based writing project.

The Th.M. in Missiology requires the successful completion of 48 quarter units, and a typical class constitutes 4 units.  In addition to full-time and part-time study at the main campus in Pasadena, you may also take up to half of the classes in a combination of online, individualized distance learning, and extension campus courses.
