Dual Degree
Programs:
MBA in International Development and M.A. in TESOL
In conjunction with your M.A. in the School of Intercultural Studies, you
also have the opportunity to complete an MBA in International Development or
Non-Profit Management or an M.A. in TESOL at partnering universities. Students
can complete dual degrees in less time by sharing up to one year of coursework.

MBA Program Highlights
The MBA in International
Development equips you with strong business and management skills.
Community-based businesses, cooperatives and grassroots economic development
organizations are studied alongside more conventional business environments in your own
setting.
You’ll gain knowledge of
the basis of development from a values-centered perspective along with
business and management partnerships.
Joint Program Details
Both degrees may be
completed with 3 years of full-time study.
The joint degree program
will allow students to share up to 36-quarter units between the MBA program
and the M.A. CCS or the M.A. ICS offered at Fuller.
Hope International
University offers three ways to take coursework for the MBA: through online
courses, by distance learning, or on their campus in Fullerton, CA.
You must apply and be
admitted to both graduate schools. Students interested in this program need to inform
their SIS advisors at an early stage in their program so that they will enroll
in the correct courses.
M.A. in TESOL and M.A. ICS

A Dual Degree with Biola University
M.A. TESOL Program Highlights
The M.A.
in TESOL
degree is for those who want to teach English as a second language, to design
curricula and language tests, administer language programs and train ESL
teachers.
The program emphasizes
the application of theory to teaching and advanced language pedagogy through
practice and classroom-based research.
Joint Program Details
Both degrees may be
completed with 3 years of full-time study.
Students will begin
working on their M.A. CCS or M.A. ICS in the School of Intercultural Studies.
After one year or more, they will begin courses for the M.A. in TESOL at Biola
University in La Mirada, CA. Students take a minimum of 25 semester units at
Biola to complete the M.A. TESOL.
You must apply and be
admitted to both graduate schools.
You will enroll first in
the School of Intercultural Studies where your academic advisor will help you
work on a degree plan. Students interested in this program need to inform
their SIS advisors at an early stage in their program so that they will enroll
in the correct courses.
